Rome Office has found a home along the Mississippi River at the edge of the Historic French Quarter. The Office has claimed a 1600sf corner of the Importers’ Bonded Warehouse building which was designed by one of Louisiana’s most celebrated architects, Henry Howard, in 1867. The building originally served as a storage facility for rice and other goods, but is now home to retailers such as H&M, Urban Outfitters, and VANs.
The space was designed to preserve the warehouse feel by eliminating as many walls as possible and exposing the original materials. Storage is incorporated into the furniture which is consciously arranged to define separate working spaces.
